Wellington Bike Life is a series of profiles of people who ride bikes in Wellington. Today we meet Jacob Jolley.

Jacob likes the convenience of biking. It's quick and reliable. He would like more bike lanes, to make riding easier.

He rides his bike into town most days.

"I think it would be really handy to have a cycleway from Newtown to Wellington because there's no cycleway in Newtown at the moment."

Jacob used to ride his mum's old one-speed bike to get around, then upgraded to his pink Reid cruiser.

"It's quicker and reliable," he says.
