Poetry in Parks - Picnics in Parks
11am Friday 15 December 2023
Jessie Street
This week's picnic is our last one for 2023, and will be outside Good Books on Jessie Street. Share your favourite poem, or come listen to other's for a picnic with the spoken word. We'll be starting around 11am and finishing no earlier than 12:30pm. See you there!
Gravel Ride
9am, Saturday 16 December
Bicycle Junction
Come for a gravel ride. We think you might enjoy it! Meet at Bicycle Junction from 9am for filter coffee or tea. We’ll depart at 9:30am.
We’ll keep it simple first up, a gentle ride up Waimapihi trails to Hawkins Hill Radar Dome then a descent into red rocks. Emphasis is on a good time - so a casual pace will be employed 🙂.
Drum & Bays 02 Bike Rave - Canceled due to the weather.
2pm, Saturday 16 December
Sky Stadium
Ride the waterfront bays listening to Drum and Bass to Hataitai Beach for an optional swim. Bring a picnic! We’ll depart the Stadium at 2:20pm. Join in from anywhere along the waterfront as we come through if you like.
Next Cycle Wellington Meeting - note the different day of the week than usual:
6pm Wednesday 7 February 2023
Sustainability Trust, 2 Forresters Lane, and online.
